What you need to know
In most instances, if the shed does not exceed 120 sq. ft., it will not require a permit. However, this varies from city to city, and many times a permit will be required. Often, our customers want a larger size, or an electrical permit will trigger a building permit. There are many reasons.
Yes, we do support all aspects of the permit process, including all the architectural plans necessary to obtain the building permit. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to be aware of the city or county regulations impacting their plans, as well as HOA issues.
We will accompany you on the path, and make sure that you obtain your permits. This does result in additional up-front costs.
